現代手工業の党　Modern Manufacturers’ Party 15th 2019 Exhibition “DECK LOUNGE FURNITURE” @surfers

モノ作りにおいてデザインから製作までを担う、デザイナーかつ技術者の集う団体が現代手工業乃党です。かれらが日々追求しているのは、大量消費用の既製品や高級輸入品、アンティークや伝統工芸品にはない「現代的な手工業」という新しいカテゴリーのプロダクトです。

新しい価値観の提言だけでなく、社会に対して”考えて作ること”の喜びを広く伝える活動をかれらは行っています。先人が築き上げてきたモノ作り文化を受け継ぎ、独自の感性で発展させ、次世代へと引き継いでいくこと。それもかれらの目指すところです。

そんな現代手工業乃党が、逗子海岸にあるsurfersクラブスペースにて、15回目の展示会をします。

今回のテーマは「DECK LOUNG FURNITURE」。

海辺やテラス、屋上などで使える 全天候型の屋外用家具を発表します。外で過ごす素敵な時間のために「こんな家具があったら最高だなーっ!」という思いを形にしました。海辺で夏を感じながら「DECK LOUNGE FURNITURE 」を体感していただけたら嬉しいです。

場所：逗子surfers  〒249-0007 神奈川県逗子市新宿5-822-2　R134沿

アクセス: JR逗子駅、京急新逗子駅より、徒歩約23分

開催中：JR逗子駅よりシャトルバス運行/（11時40分〜19時30分。逗子駅発・毎時15分と40分の2便）

乗り場は、JR逗子駅海岸方面改札を出てすぐ右ロータリー、車は「surfers」とペイントされたシルバーのホンダステップワゴンです

※シャワーも更衣室もありますので、水着があれば海水浴も楽しめます。

The Modern Manufacturers’Party is a group that occasionally gets together to design, create, and have a good time. This year, we will be exhibiting our furniture at surfers, a charming spot on the shores of Zushi.

We will be open from noon til the sun sets, on July 27th (Sat), 28th (Sun), Aug 3th (Sat), and 4th (Sun).

The theme of this exhibit will be outdoor furniture– pieces you can enjoy on your deck or rooftop.

With delicious food at the adjacent restaurant and the ocean right in front of you, what more can you ask for? Bring your swimsuit and come enjoy Summer with us!

Zushi surfers

5-822-2 Shinjuku, Zushi, Kanagawa

*25 min walk from Zushi station (JR) and Shin-Zushi station (Keikyu line)

*Shuttle bus service from Zushi station departs at :15 and :40 past the hour, every hour, starting from 11:40 until closing.

Exit East exit, and bus stop will be in front of the soba stand to your right, with a silver van waiting to take you to surfers.
